Ellen Page comes out

   Ellen Page, best known for her role in the movie "Juno", announces she is gay.    "I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission" Page tells to a crowd in a conference in Las Vegas.    This news is just a couple days after football star Michael Sam  announced he was gay .

   Don't worry, it is not just you.     IGN , the ultra popular gaming website is down shortly after the latest Nintendo Direct finished. The cause of the crash is currently unknown.    This article will be updated when IGN is back online. UPDATE: IGN is now back online.

Verizon cuts plan prices

   Verizon introduced new plans for their contract phones today. "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" coming to Netflix

   Starting on March 7th, Netflix subscribers can now enjoy the animated Star Wars series "The Clone Wars" on their Netflix account.    Netflix announced that they will stream every season of the animated series, including season 6, which has not aired on television before as the series was canceled.  

Comcast buys Time Warner Cable

   After a $45 million dollar deal, Comcast will own Time Warner Cable.    The cable provider announced today that they will buy Time Warner. The top two cable providers will now combine into one package.

TV comedy icon Sid Caesar dies

   Sid Caesar, the legend behind TV comedy in the 50's, died today in his home.    Caesar was 91 years old. He has won two Emmy awards in his lifetime.    Caesar is known for his work in the old TV show "Your Show of Shows". Caesar has been in the Television Academy Hall of Fame since 1985.  

Debt limit extended

   The senate has increased the debt limit from $16.7 trillion to $17.2 trillion; a 500 billion increase.    This will allow the U.S to keep borrowing money as usual.

Applications for Titanfall beta start today

   You can now apply to join the closed beta of Titanfall, the highly anticipated PC and Xbox game.    The game will be released on PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360, but the beta is only offered to PC and Xbox One players.    You can apply for the beta from now to the 17th. The Lego Movie makes $69.1 million dollars last weekend

   The Lego Movie, a movie based on the popular toy, made $69.1 million dollars on its opening weekend.    The opening is the biggest opening for a movie so far this year. It has received generally positive reviews from critics and movie-goers.

Bitcoin apps removed from app stores

   It appears that Bitcoin, a digital anonymous currency, has been struggling lately.     With a CEO of a major Bitcoin distributor being arrested , the value going down almost $300, and all of the apps relating to Bitcoin being removed from Apple's app store, the future does not look so bright for the currency.
