Justin Bieber could actually be deported

A petition has been going around online to deport Canadian pop star Justin Bieber from the United States, and it got enough signatures to get it noticed by the White House.    The petition, which has gotten more than 200 thousand signatures, was started after Bieber kept making headlines for getting himself in legal trouble.    The White House has not yet made a decision.

Call of Duty: Ghosts review for PS3/Xbox 360

Image
For PS3 and Xbox 360 Buy on Amazon    Call of Duty: Ghosts accomplishes what its previous installments have done and a little bit more, but is that enough to drop 60 dollars on this new CoD title? Game that is being reviewed is based on last gen console versions (PS3 and Xbox 360) only.    It almost seems as if the franchise is afraid of doing something different. The last Call of Duty, Black Ops 2, ventured out by making the player perform choices that will affect the story in the single player campaign. This feature does not make a return in Ghosts, which is a huge letdown.     The campaign is everything you expect from a Call of Duty game. Ridiculous over-the-top action sequences, intense shootouts and a large variety of locations where the missions take place all make a return in Ghosts. Ghosts also introduces the ability to play as a dog, which is undeniably fun.      A new mode introduced for Ghosts is called Extinct...

PS4 review

Image
PS4 Review Buy on Amazon Coming in at $399.99, you can guess that the PS4 is going to be an impressive piece of hardware. The functionality of the PS4 is outstanding. The lack of games at the moment is a little worrisome, but it'll take some time before it gets a full library of AAA games. Pros:  The price (kind of, cheaper than the  Xbox One, but still 400 dollars) The controller -  fits very naturally in your hands and a huge improvement over the PS3's controller Cons: Camera sold separately -  which is why it costs 100 dollars less than Xbox One Games   - not a lot of exclusives for the system so far, but more are sure to come No backwards compatibility  - cannot play PS3 games    Should you buy it? If you love video games and need to play the newest games that come out right as they come out, then you should get the PS4. You can not play PS3 games on the PS4, which is a huge let down. If you are an average gamer,...

Federal minimum wage to increase

During the State of the Union, Obama has announced that he will be increasing the federal minimum wage to $10.10 an hour.    This will be a $2.85 increase to the current $7.25 minimum wage, a wage that has remained the same since 2009.    It is unknown how long it will take for the new federal law to be in effect, but it could be over a year before we start seeing the change.

Flappy Bird review

Image
Flappy Bird Review Download on iTunes - Download on Android    Flappy Bird is a free game for the iOS and Android devices. It is extremely simple. You are a bird with tiny wings. Every time you tap the screen, the bird jumps up a little bit. When you don't tap the screen, the bird falls down. You have to fly through obstacles until you hit one and lose.    Flappy Bird took the world by storm by quickly becoming one of the first biggest apps of 2014. It has one main hook: it is very hard.     Graphics: The graphics are cute and simple. Nothing too fancy, nothing too bland.     Price: It is a free app, but it does have advertisements pop-up on the top and bottom portion of your screen as you play. They are, for the most part, out of your way and you will not accidentally click them.     Gameplay: Flappy Bird is a very casual game that usually only takes a couple seconds to play. Your high score can be bragged about to friends ...

Amazon's profit grew, but under expectations

Amazon has earned 51 cents per share for Q4 of 2013, a huge jump from the previous year's 21 cents per share, but it has fallen short from expectations.    It was predicted that Amazon would have earned 74 cents per share during Q4, and have a revenue of $26.05 billion rather than the $25.59 billion it made; a nearly 2% difference.
