PS4 review

PS4 Review

Coming in at $399.99, you can guess that the PS4 is going to be an impressive piece of hardware. The functionality of the PS4 is outstanding. The lack of games at the moment is a little worrisome, but it'll take some time before it gets a full library of AAA games.

Pros:
The price (kind of, cheaper than the  Xbox One, but still 400 dollars)
The controller - fits very naturally in your hands and a huge improvement over the PS3's controller
Cons:
Camera sold separately - which is why it costs 100 dollars less than Xbox One
Games   - not a lot of exclusives for the system so far, but more are sure to come
No backwards compatibility - cannot play PS3 games

Should you buy it?
If you love video games and need to play the newest games that come out right as they come out, then you should get the PS4. You can not play PS3 games on the PS4, which is a huge let down. If you are an average gamer, than you should wait a couple years for the price to drop until you get it. You may find yourself bored from the lack of launch games for the console, but the library will have much more variety after a couple years. Buy if you are a hardcore gamer that has to play all of the latest titles, but DO NOT BUY if you are a casual gamer, then just stick with your PS3 for now.
