14 year old stabs 11 year old sister to death

   14 year old girl stabs her 11 year old half sister to death in Mundelein, Illinois. 
   The 14 year old admitted to police that she felt "unappreciated" by her sister.
   After fighting with her sister, she allegedly stabbed the 11 year old 40 times with a kitchen knife inside her room. 
   It is currently unknown whether she will be charged as an adult or not. If she is trialed as an adult, she could face up to 60 years or life in jail without parole according to Illinois law.
