Top 5 Movies of the Summer of 2014

During the summer of 2014, a ton of movies are being released. While not all of them are predicted to be that well-received, there are a few that look very entertaining. Comedies, action and Sci-Fi movies have made this list. So no matter what your taste of movies is, you will want to see at least one of the movies on this list. Here are the top 5 movies of the summer of 2014.
1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles | Release Date: 8/8/14
This PG action movie is sure to bring out the inner ninja turtle in you. With a reboot of the cartoon airing on Nickelodeon, a whole new generation of kids have fallen in love with the ninja turtles. This movie, however, is going to be live-action rather than animated. It'll be interesting to see how well this movie does. Either way, you have to be at least curious on how a live-action Ninja Turtle movie would work.
2. Guardians of the Galaxy | Release Date: 8/1/14
Guardians of the Galaxy will be another Marvel movie based on a comic, but this time it'll feature a gun-wielding raccoon and aliens. While certainly not as big of a name as Spider-Man or anybody featured in The Avengers , it i s still going to be a must-see for any Sci-Fi fan.
3. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes | Release Date: 7/11/14
The reboot of the series in 2011 proved to be extremely popular, so a sequel to the reboot was no surprise. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will take place 10 years after the reboot and will focus on a war between the surviving humans and apes.
4. 22 Jump Street | Release Date: 7/13 /14
The only comedy on this list, 22 Jump Street is a sequel to the 2012 reboot of the popular TV series of the same name. In this movie, they go undercover in a college instead of a high school, which will surely bring a lot of funny moments. This is also the only movie on this list that's rated R.
5. Transformers: Age of Extinction | Release Date: 6/27/14
The fourth movie in the franchise, Age of Extinction will provide more of the action-packed robot fights that people just can't seem to get enough of. It is assumed to be the last Michael Bay adaption of the series, so be sure to watch the finale of the epic series at the end of June.
