New iPhone 7th Generation All That it's Cracked up To Be?
It has been a few weeks since the new iPhone has been released and many people have had a lot of screen time to see how it stands up compared to previous iPhone generations. This new iPhone has had some of the biggest changes from 6th to 7th generation that we have seen in Apple history. A lot of this has to do with the loss of the 3.5 mm headphone jack that has been on devices since 1964. Alhtough there is a converter that is included, the idea was to mostly use Bluetooth for listening to your music. Here is a quick run down of some of the pros and cons of the new iPhone 7
Pros
Pros
- Thinner-The removal of the headphone jack allows for the new iPhone to be a lot sleeker and easier to hold
- Better Audio Quality-Using the new "lightning cable" headphone jack, pulls more power from the iPhone giving better sound quality
- No more tangled messes-With no more chords you are able to keep everything clean and tangle free
- Better battery life- A larger battery has been added to the new iPhone with compensation to having no more headphone jack.
Cons
- Can't listen to music and charge at the same time on lightning headphone cable
- Possible bending of the iPhone because its so sleek
- Many accessories you have purchased (for audio jacks) just became useless
- Battery life can be drained quicker since Bluetooth is on a lot more for listening to music
